OUR STORY

Eaker’s has been a downtown fixture for almost 70 years.  Third generation owner, Kari Eaker, has kept the small town charm and family appeal set by Grandfather, Chester & Father, Tom.

Eaker's barberhop was founded by Chester Eaker in 1951.  In 1961, Chester bought the building at 227 N. Main St. which we are still in today.  Since then, his son Tom and Tom's daughter Kari have kept the family tradition rolling on till today! Jamie Flowers holds down the second chair adding a bright and talented addition to the shop. We pride ourselves in being a big part of the community and the community continues to support Eaker's as they have for many years.   Downtown Edwardsville today is thriving due to the several new businesses and amazing business owners that take such pride in making our downtown so desirable.   We are thrilled to be a part of this thriving movement and hope to continue for years to come. When the pole is spinning the scissors are clipping!
