KARI EAKER

For SEVENTY years, 227 N. Main Street has been the home of barbering for the Eaker family. Following in Chester and Tom’s footsteps, Kari has continued the family legacy of barbering into its third generation by honing her craft for over twenty-five years. As a proud native of Edwardsville, she feels tremendous pride in her community and is honored to share her historical piece of downtown Edwardsville with so many amazing local businesses.

While her expertise lies in men’s cuts and women’s short hair, the part of her job she favors the most is giving babies their first haircuts, as well as giving brutally honest and sound advice, which is free as long as you’re sitting down. While Kari enjoys reading, and painting in her off time, her favorite activities are entertaining company with her husband Rich, and spending time with the two sons and daughter-in-law they share; Camron, Kelsey and Jack. Now blessed with an amazing granddaughter Meredith!

JAMIE FLOWERS

After graduating from the Missouri School of Barbering and Beauty, Jamie found herself falling in love with Eaker’s Barber Shop the first day she walked into the door on Valentine’s Day, 2017. Since then, she has dedicated herself to giving each and every customer the best experience possible as the newest addition to the Barber Shop family.

“It’s my personal goal to make sure everyone not only leaves feeling good about themselves, but also had a pleasant time while they’re here.” she says.

As Jerseyville native, artist, and mother of two, her life is full of surprises and adventure. If you don’t see her at Eaker’s, it is likely that she is crafting, painting, tending to her animals, and hanging with her children, Catherine and Gavin and her main “guy” Brandon!!
